As much as I love Arashi, I still hold a 33 year devotion to Duran Duran.
Again it's difficult to do a top 10, but here goes.
1 Planet Earth - The first song I heard and fell in love with & the video was like nothing I'd ever seen before. Also my first 12" single (I still have it)
2.The Chauffer - An album track that many fans love & I'm glad they respect that by often playing it live. One of the most atmospheric songs I've ever heard.
3. Do you believe in shame? - A very haunting & personal track for me regarding the subject matter.
4. Friends of mine - From their first album. Hateful and angsty with a catchy chorus - Perfect for a teenager.
5. New Religion - Loved the ambience of this & the double chorus.
6. Wild Boys - Strong, punchy & a hot video.
7. Ordinary World - Marked a comeback from a long break. Great lyrics.
8. The Valley - I loved the Red Carpet Massacre album & this song was like a sweeping epic.
9. Girls on film - Controversial but oh so catchy.
10. Skin Divers - Again from Red Carpet Massacre. Loved this coz it was so different yet reminiscent of some of their older songs.
